How to Clean Your Shisha
Shisha hookahs are glass hookahs and you can use them for smoking shisha tobacco. When you smoke with a shisha hookah, the water reduces the chemicals in the tobacco. You should clean your hookah after every use to reduce build up in the pipe or mold growth in the glass base bottle. Cleaning your hookah does not require much time and will help to extend the life of your shisha hookah.
Things You'll Need
Wired bristle brush
1 .Take apart your shisha. Separate the hoses, the metal stem pipe and the glass base bottle.
2 .Rinse the metal pipe stem out with hot water and insert a wired bristled brush into one end. Push the wired brush through the metal stem to loosen any debris that may be lodged inside of the stem and then rinse the stem out again with hot water. Allow the stem to air dry.
3 .Pour out any water that remains in the glass base bottle. Squirt a teaspoon of dishwashing soap into the bottle and fill it with water. Allow it to soak for at least 20 minutes before using a wire brush to wash the interior of the bottle. Rinse the bottle out with fresh water.
4 .Read the manual for your shisha hookah to find out the material of the hoses. The manual will tell you if you are able to wash your hoses. If you are able to wash your hoses, rinse them with cool water and hang them to dry.
